BACKGROUND
-Graduate of Mt. St. Mary’s University in 2003
-Masters in Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute in 2011 and Doctorate in Acupuncture from MUIH in 2019
-From 2011-2013 became certified as a NADA Detoxification Specialist, received training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, completed Usui Reiki Master and Integrative Reflexology Certifications from the Holistic Massage Therapy Institute.
-Since 2016 Dr Curran has served as the Main Clinician, Clinic Manager and Supervisor of Clinical Externships at the Kaufman Cancer Center at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where Acuseed Therapy®️ has been recognized and administered as an approved modality.
-Enjoyed a 7 year tenure as a Faculty Member & Clinic Supervisor of the Kaufman Cancer Center Doctorate Externship through the Maryland University of Integrative Health
-In 2019, began training in Jin Shin Jyutsu
-Completed an Observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC and completed their Oncology Acupuncture Certification.
-Asked to present at the Susan B. Komen Metastatic Breast Cancer Symposium at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
-In 2020, had compositions published in “Acupuncture Today” and the "Journal of the American Society of Acupuncturists" on the use of "Verbal Medicine" in telemedicine.
-To support colleagues and patients during the pandemic, developed Acuseed Therapy®️ Acupressure courses that have been recognized by the NCCAOM and NCBTMB.
